Here are some helpful tips:

  • Note: A new VikingBra version has been uploaded on October 6 which fixes a messaging issue. If you downloaded VikingBra prior to this date, please go to the main page and download and install the new version (your account/login settings will be preserved).
  • Record a personal voice greeting by clicking on the "Record Greeting" button as that way people can send/leave you voice messages.
  • Invite a few of your friends to join your personal VikingBra network - and you will automatically be connected to their friends and so forth - which you can navigate graphically inside VikingBra (this is a really fun feature!). To send invitations, click on the "Tell Friends" button on the top toolbar and VikingBra will do all the work for you.
  • Click on the individual photos in the graphical photo tree to display that member's contact tree.
  • To back-navigate inside the graphical photo tree, use "Alt+B". You can change this default combination inside the Options control panel.
  • Join or create an interest group as a way to meet like-minded people. Upload your favorite photos to the group photo album by clicking on the "Add Photo" at the bottom of the page.
  • You will notice either a small blue (or gray) sphere below each member profile. The blue sphere indicates that this member happens to be online and can be reached using VikingBra's instant messenger feature. Click on the member's username/photo and his/her profile will be brought up in the program's lower left-hand section. To communicate with this member, click on the "Send Message" button. If the member happens to be online (blue sphere), then VikingBra's instant messaging window will pop up. If the member happens to be offline (gray sphere), then you will be able to send a private text message which will be automatically forwarded to that member's real email address (where he/she can then respond back to you).
  • You can easily chat with any of your friends by clicking on the "New IM" button in the top toolbutton panel and selecting the desired friend who happens to be online (blue sphere next to his/her username). This will invoke VikingBra's built-in Instant Messenger program and your friend will receive the message instantly (popping-up on his/her screen) and you will be able to have real-time 2-way chat. If you meet someone interesting in the Groups section, add him/her as your friend and you will thus be able to easily chat anytime with him/her in the future by simply clicking on the "New IM" button.
  • Got a favorite nightclub or restaurant? A special insider's tip for people visiting your city? Do you travel frequently? Add your personal reviews/tips in the Entertainment section for your favorite cities and share them with the VikingBra community (great way to meet interesting people)!
  • Spread the word on VikingBra to all of your friends and acquaintances!
